How Aromatherapy benefits us

Aromatherapy in forms of essential oils, reed diffusers, scented candles, scented crystals etc. are ranges of lifestyle products that’s part of our daily life.

So, what’s these scents sensation all about and how benefits oneself and others?

Essential oils are derived from plants and unlike perfumes, the fragrances include pure chemical components.

As smell is one of our main senses, scents play a huge factor to one individual mood. Choosing what suit your needs is important to help you feel good and positive. This is also the reason why it’s gaining so much attention and popularity in recent years and the numbers are growing.

When used correctly, below are some information about the scents I love personally and uses them in my daily life:

  • Lavender

relieve headaches and nausea and it can promote easier breathing by working as a decongestant. It can deodorize a room, linens, or the body. Its calming, sedative quality is known to promote rest and relaxation, helping it to treat anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

  • Ylang Ylang

positive effect on the mood due to its ability to act on the olfactory system in the brain. Ylang Ylang essential oil can help promote feelings of joy and ease while releasing negative emotions, promoting a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the home when diffused.

  • Lemon

Energizing and giving room a refreshing aroma. Best used in bathrooms and kitchen.

  • Lemongrass

reducing anxiety and tension, promoting feelings of calm, and freshening the air. Most lemongrass oil diffuser blends include words like relax, calm, and refresh. You can also use lemongrass essential oil diffuser blends to clear breathing and reduce headache pain.

  • Citronella
